Fakulti Udang-udang

People, welcome to the Law Faculty in UKM. It's situated at the very end of UKM, on a 'isolated' hill. I'll tell you guys how 'awesome' my faculty is.

We only have law students at my faculty because there's only one course that we are doing, which is law. We study whatever law but we still unable to enjoy some facilities that we are entitled to the enjoyment in my faculty. The land beside our old cafeteria is under construction since last semester, thus the cafeteria was closed and we have totally nothing to eat. Imagine if we having the class from morning till noon, we have to suffer in hunger. After Mr. Phoon had won in the Election of UKM, he managed to find a temporary cafe for us so that we don't need to go down from our faculty to have breakfast or lunch, it's very troublesome and it's time consuming to travel from here and there since we (who don't have car/bike) have to wait for the bus.

But since this new semester, the management of the temporary cafe has changed. It's not from the cafe of Engineering Faculty anymore and I'm not sure where are they from. It's so miserable that at the first week that the cafe starts operating, we only have the common nasi lemak EVERYDAY for BREAKFAST and LUNCH. I don't have appetite for it after ate it for a few days. The condition now is getting better because we finally have a real meal for lunch now, the dishes have been varied. But I still think the Engineering Fac one is nicer.

And today, I was having my test in the early morning. It's a misfortune that the air-conditioner was not functioning. Imagine 120++ of poeple sitting inside the lecturer hall, racing for the oxygen while taking the test. Sweat! Funny right? I can hardly breath during the class because due to the malfunctioning of the air-cond, the atmosphere in the hall was so muggy. At last, I skipped the second lecturer class for 1 hour and had my lunch at the cafe for the time being. LOL.

I'm quite proud of the library at my faculty. It's mainly for law students use only and UKM called it as Perpustakaan Undang-undang. Basically the library has two levels, but we, the students are only allowed to use the toilet at the first floor as the toilet at the ground floor is only reserved to STAFFS ONLY. Sometimes you can see many people queueing at the toilet as there's only three toilet rooms. Plus, the toilet can't flush soon after one has used it. One of the toilet can't even flush! I wonder if someday we can smell the toilet in the library. UKM's internet connection is another problem. The server keep going down this week. As a result, we cannot borrow the books from the library, the staffs don't allow me to borrow it manually and they only blame on the connection when we asked why we can't borrow books. Besides, we cannot do the printing or photocopying by paperlogic because we need to be connected to the internet even to scan the card! The server down can happen anytime, it's faster than what you think! The moment when I entered into the library, everything was normal. I walked to the bookshelf to search for the book that I wanted to borrow two days ago and then I walked to the counter to borrow it, but the server was already down and I can't borrow the book. It was like just five minutes ago! This is also the reason why I can't borrow it two days ago! WTF! What is the purpose of the library since we can't borrow books and can't use the facilities?

These are what happen when the state of being too unique. All the problems that occur cannot be resolved in a simple way. Hopefully the person who is incharge of all these figure out the ways to solve the problems, perhaps in a unique way. FUU....It's a place that you never want to be there but I have to go there daily. How pathetic it is.

Dance It Slow

I don't feel right tonight. I can't concentrate at all. There are too much things in my mind that I couldn't fully relax and enjoy dancing. It was supposed to be a relaxing exercise and I should just dance and throw away all the worries. But I don't feel that way. I kept on thinking on my presentations and the upcoming test on this Wednesday. There's not only a test, there will be more on next week or the following week for sure. And I have at least two presentations in a week. Maybe it's just a small presentation but I need to have full preparation. Somehow they are like a burden in me. When I'm serious in doing something, I will put my effort to do it no matter how much time is required. But there are too much! I have to manage my time precisely for each subjects and activities. I can't waste a single minute! That's why I enjoy to the fullest because that's not more free time I have. Otherwise, I need some rest. Too many things that I have to do. I even have to think what to do now, either study or blog. Then I decided to do blogging because I already study for the whole day, and if I don't blog today, the posts will be delayed. Honestly, i can't slack off, I've been pushing too hard. I look normal to you I know, but you don't know what's inside me. I don't speak out the bitter, I would share only the joy. Now I realized the profit and the importance of blogging. It a medium to catch up with what a person does all day without having to extract part of your time to ask what he/she has been doing since everyone is so busy, especially those people who are close to you.

Suddenly I think of a poem that I've read in my mailbox two days ago. It's written by a teenage girl who suffered in cancer.

SLOW DANCE

Have you ever
watched kids
On a merry-go-round?

Or listened to
the rain
Slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a
butterfly's erratic flight?

Or gazed at the sun into the fading
night?

You better slow down..
Don't dance so
fast.
Time is short.
The music won't
last.

Do you run through each day
On the
fly?

When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the
reply?

When the day is done
Do you lie in your
bed

With the next hundred chores
Running through
your head?

You'd better slow down
Don't dance so
fast.
Time is short.
The music won't
last..

Ever told your child,
We'll do it
tomorrow?

And in your haste,
Not see
his
sorrow?

Ever lost touch,
Let a good
friendship die

Cause you never had time
To call
and say,'Hi'

You'd better slow down.
Don't dance
so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't
last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You
miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry
through your day,
It is like an unopened
gift....

Thrown away.

Life is not a
race.
Do take it slower
Hear the
music
Before the song is over.

Honestly, to some questions in the poem, my answer is a 'no'. I missed the call from my parents since yesterday and I don't have time to call back. The only time I have to call them is while waiting for the bus to get back to my college. I don't even have time for dinner today. I asked a friend to buy me a dinner because I don't have time to buy it, I ate it after we done the stretching and before they start teaching new steps during dance class. They were refreshing last week's practice at the meantime. I wish I could slow down but I can't, time is rushing in me. Maybe I place myself too busy and my life is abnormal now. I'm lacking of interaction with my family and some of my friends. I don't really have time to drop by and chat leisurely with a friend.

But I promise myself, only these few months, until the mooncake festival performance. Perhaps I will have my normal schedule back after that. Sometimes in order to succeed, sacrifice is needed. But I can't afford to sacrifice my friends and family. I want to apologize if I don't answer your call or reply your message. I hope that you can understand that I will reply it as soon as I have free time to do that. Even if I don't send you a message to say 'hi', I would always wish all of you are doing fine. I think I really need to slow down. No matter how, I have to slow down before everything changes unknowingly. Sigh, now I'm worry of being single. LOL

Look-up Point

Celebrated Shereen's birthday one day earlier at look-up point after the other two fellas came back from KL and after I finished my PT practice. Congratz to UKM moot team who won the second place in Law Asia moot competition. Congratz to Carol and her team. =)
The oinment is a necessity to me now, everytime there sure have additional injuries after practice as the dance is so contem, there are many movements on the floor. Despite of the injuries I've gotten, I tried my best to enjoy myself at night. It's Shereen's birthday right! ^^ If you guys never been to Kajang, let me introduce this place to you. Look-up point is basically situated on a small hill not far from Metro Kajang or New Era College. From this point, you can view the night city, just like somewhere called "Little Genting" (I'm supposed it is in Penang). There's a restaurant at Look-up Point - 21st Century. It's the first time I've been there yesterday. The food are not bad, depends on what you order. =) Everything is fine there, the atmosphere is nice, the service is quite good... The only thing that I hate is the mosquitoes that kept biting me. Should wear long pants next time. LOL.

Seeking for a dish with corns? LOL

This girl ah, don't want to take picture with me.
The result of deprived form sleep! @@

Didn't get the wrong order, it has everything!

Far more cheaper than Chillies, TGIF or whatever and it's guarantee fulfilling~

The steamboat cheese.
Celup and makan, so nice! ^^

Grilled chicken chop.

The strawberry ice cream cake for our dearest birthday girl. =)

Making her wish.
What's with the tongue? Wishing for food? xD

♥ Shereen and me. ♥

The six of us at look up point.
Happy birthday!!

After the late dinner, we went to Ceria Box and enjoy singing K!! But the place was too smoky, my shirts got the unpleasant smell after came back from that place. Eww~ And they don't have a remote control, there's only a screen for us to select the songs. The songs are not fully updated, I still think Redbox or Greenbox are the best in Malaysia! I don't think I'll go to that place for the second time... Haha..

And it's the end of the day. We went back at around 2am and everyone is a dead fish! Once in a while la..hehe.

GIJOE + Manhattan

Watched G.I.Joe at The Curve today, the movie lasted for 2hours. Never thought that it would be that long. Luckily it's shorter than Transformers II, I don't need to hold my pee for so long. haha! After the movie, it was already 9pm and that's when we had our dinner at The Manhattan Fish Market. We were eating fish and discussing about sharks and buaya. The National Geography is on the telly. Haha.

I ♥ Manhattan.

You know what I mean. hehe..

I was trying the smile mode of my camera.
But is this a smile? Why it can capture one? lol

Coolpix

I got a new camera today but it's not dslr...relax. Hehe... I bought it at ICT carnival, it's the last day carnival today, I just got to know it when pass by Pusanika this afternoon.Swt. Luckily we went there after I canceled my plan to go Mid Valley because my sis ffk me. @@ We simply looked around and I saw some booths selling cameras. I've wanted to get a new camera actually because the sony one is really palia, not nice to use at all. Don't ever buy a camera using AA battery, waste a lot! Better use the rechargable one.

I did some survey at every camera booths (there are 3) and at last I decided to get the Nikon one. It's price is more reasonable and the functions are not bad. It can auto change the shooting mode, very convenience to use it. hehe.. The price is Rm598 best buy. But I bought it at Rm580 best best guy. xD

The camera container box.

I got a few free gifts including these two casings.
The right hand side one is limited edition, the second last left. Hehe..

S220 blue.
My favo colour. ^^

Yahoo~ It's so cool that I can take pictures with my very own camera from now on. Feel delighted after I bought that camera when I've forgotten how much I've spent for it. LOL. It's not a very perfect camera but it would be sufficient for my own use. Wait for more pics later on. =)
