It's fasting season now. I just realized that 7pm onwards there will be no bus until 8pm because the drivers want to 'buka puasa'. Normally their break time starts at 7.30pm but now there'll be no transport for AN HOUR! It's really troublesome, that's why I NEED A CAR in UKM!
But I'm lucky enough to meet some strangers who are willing to offer us a ride. Last Wednesday (if I'm not mistaken), me and Carol were waiting at the bus stand after our French class at about 6.50pm. It was raining and we waited for almost half an hour but there wasn't any bus coming! It was getting dark by then and we knew something wrong. We then decided to walk back to our college as everyone at the bus stand starts leaving. However, we were expecting that if someone we know pass by perhaps they can drop us at our college. So, we started walking back. Just then, a car passed by, we were looking at the car hoping that it'll stop by to pick us up. Thanks god our wish was granted, the man in the car waited in front and when we got there, he asked us where were we heading to and said that he could fetch us. So we got into the car, we were so so happy at the moment. We found that he is a lecturer who is teaching Hubungan Etnic through our conversations. UKM's lecture wasn't that bad after all. ;D Finally, we got back to our college safely, thanks to the lecturer who was rushing back home to Nilai.
The same thing happened today. I thought I missed the Zon2 bus at 7pm, so I walked down to FTSM bus stop which is the one I waited for the bus to go to class everyday to take bus U. There wasn't any bus passing by actually, my backup plan was to walk to Pusanika. Just when I was thinking what to do, a car came down from the direction of my faculty asking for the way to get to UKM main entrance. Well, I don't know how to explain it to him in plain language. He then asked me whether I can show him the way. Of course, when there is an offer, there is a consideration. Hehe. I asked him whether he can drop me by Pusanika becasue it is on the way to the main gate. I got to know that the guy, Mus is from Algeria and currently is doing his PHD at Engineering Fac. The purpose of him getting out from UKM is because he wants to eat after fasting for the whole day! LOL. Fortunately when we reached a particular junction, he knew the way to the entrance and I don't need to explain everything. I think he got lost at my fac when finding the way out before we met. My fac is at an isolated area, it's normal when people who don't belong there goes in and don't know how to get out. Haha. Anyway, thanks for the ride again. I got to Pusanika just in time without wasting my energy and sweat. =)
