Me and my friends had a secret journey to Langkawi this week. Why would I say it's a "secret" journey? I know, we know, He don't know. Hehe... Lets skip over this topic and see how wonderful Langkawi is xP
We only stayed over for one night, we had a few places to visit but lack of time, so it's quite pack and rush this time. It's not really an ideal trip to me because all I imagine is about playing sea water at first. But I still try to enjoy myself for I don't wish a dull trip. Now, I think our trip is not bad at all! I really love the view in Langkawi, they are amazing! And it's NOT only the beach that we can go, there are actually many other interesting places too xD

We rent a Sentra for RM90 at a place not far from the jetty and began our journey.
The first place we visited is Museum of Mahsuri. Somehow, we got interested in the legend of Mahsuri and decided to go and have a look. I'm sure all of you know about the story about a woman was proved innocent by her milky white blood after her execution, andshe cursed Langkawi for 7 generations. Too bad cameras are not allow in the museum. There's a painting of Mahsuri, her beauty is actually the cause of jealousy which resulted her death.
Our second destination is Langkawi Hot Spring. The place is still under renovation, only some pools are available. The hot springs are man-made.
I'm sitting next to a cold pool. =)
Later on, we headed to Region Hotel, a random hotel that we chose. It's only Rm60 for one night!!! LOL... No complains since it's so cheap, almost everything was provided and it fits us 6 people just nice. There were 2 double beds, an air-conditioner and a telly, even water heater also provided (though the water level is a bit small). ^^
After check in the hotel and charging ourselves, we continue our journey to the Oriental village None of us is from Langkawi, we only depend on a map and asked the people there when we feel like we're lost. Haha.. It's undeniable that our driver, Mei Cheah is really good in leading us and finding the route, her driving skill is also 'zhun'! xD
While on the way to Oriental Village, we stopped by a Petronas Station to pump the tyres. These are what I saw beside the petrol station.

Here we are, the Oriental Village.
There are a few shops and restaurant in the village but we never give a visit. We headed to the cable car ride without wasting time. We already bought the tickets at the jetty previously, the tickets are available there.
In the cable car.
Just look at the background view, should see it with your own eyes, it's very nice!
But the ride was quite scary because it's not as stable as Genting Skyway, the wind was strong up there.

On a fine day, we can actually see the sunset from this angle at around 6.30pm-7.00pm.
We reached there quite early so there's no sunset for us to see =(
This is the bridge, the destination we share in common.
Too bad the wind was too strong that day, the bridge was closed.
The design is quite cool, but it seems dangerous if too many people standing on it because it's a hanging bridge.
One of my favourite photo.
I personally think we look cool. =D
Our hair was blowing by the strong wind!!
We only can feel the strong wind at a certain standing point. ^^
Our backs. =)
After that, we headed to the beach. The waves are bigger than usual due to the windy day. We had a short beach walk and left when the rain arrived.
Me, barefoot at the beach.
How could one came to Langkawi with empty hands back? It's duty free, man!! It a MUST to bring some chocolates back. So we went shopping at "Teow Soon Huat" and that kills me a lot T.T
I bought these and they cost me RM142.50?!
(Part of them are for friends, hehe)
The boss didn't even give me a paper bag but only one ugly plastic bag, swt!
We didn't buy any alcohol because we didn't find any that we want. That's quite regretful, no wine or beer or at least Kampai in Langkawi? Sigh.. But we had a great dinner at Thailand Restaurant, that fixes all =)
After dinner, we had a walk at the Eagle View near the jetty.
The big eagle statue symbolizes Langkawi.
We also recorded some silly videos!! That's what we learned from the Chinese visitors from other country whom we met on the mountain, a "welcoming video"..xD (I'm not gonna post it here....lol) That's all for the first day.
On the next day, we woke up early and departed at 7.40am. We're going to go for a river cruise. We got the deal through my friend's friend at a cheaper price, 5 stops for RM120 for a boat. ^^
Below is a picture of monkeys which made us very excited while our cruise began. They are not any monkeys like monkeys in the zoo or in UKM...
Have you notice what so special about them?

They SWIM!!!!
(Gotcha xD)
Our first stop is the Bat Cave.
The cave was dark and no flash cameras are allowed inside.
We can see the tiny bats hanging on the ceiling using a torchlight. =)
The second stop is the Fish Farm. There are varies of fish living in the river. One of them is Stingray like the one which kills the Crocodile Hunter last year. Guess what, we've touched it!! Here's the proof ;P
The skin has short and rough fur on it, and it's bottom is white. The Malay worker purposely turned it over while feeding and let us see its mouth, it has no teeth xP
Stingray somehow seems smart, it can play with us.
Next stop........Eagles in the sky, flying in circles...It's feeding time.
Here comes one.
Its sharp eyesight clearly see everything in the river.

"Catch and fly", fast yet accurate!
That's the mighty bird, the eagle.
The fourth stop is a Crocodile cave. There's no crocodile in the river though but it was named as "Crocodile cave".
No croc but there's some bats inside xD
The last stop is the open sea. Nothing there but sea waters and mountains. Boundary of Thailand is nor far away, hehe...
Q: What does this island looks like?
A: Crocodile?? Nope.
A: Oh, KASUT!!!!
Yup! So it's called "Pulau Kasut" xP

The boat driver purposely drove the boat here to help us capture this photo. ^^
Us and the kind and en tao boat driver. Wakaka...
Finally, before I end my writing..................................
