Wat Marathon!!

Exactly!! I visited eight temples in a day!! EIGHT!!!....With a big group of aunties!!! Man..that's crazy.... I think I was cheated by my mom =.= I thought we're just going to a temple and only with some random people, but ended up going with 5 buses of people, 95% of them are aunties!!!! swt... Wish I could ran home when I knew it but it's already too late...Sigh, a nightmare to me @@

Saw a rainbow in the morning, woke me up from the nightmare O.o

It was the first time that the Buddhist Society held this trip, visiting Siam temples at different places in Kedah. Most of the temples are located in rural areas....which means no network coverage!! =.=" We prayed at every temple that we visited and also do some charity. Each of us donate a little like RM1 or RM2 at each temple but the amount accumulated and become a huge number in the end, a total of Rm6000!!!! "Sadhu" x3 and with all the good things we did, we share the bless. =)

The only temple that I visited before among the 8 temples is Wat Teluk Wanjah, it's near to my house actually and it's our first destination on that day...

1 Wat Teluk Wanjah, Alor Star

The worshippers.
Most of them are aunties...=.=

Moving to the next station.

2 Wat Kampong Cina, located at somewhere in Pendang.

The hall for the praying event.

Daddy and mommy ^^

Money hanging on the golden tree!!!!!

3 Wat Titi Akar

Drawings on the wall.

We visited 3 temples in the morning and the forth at noon. They prepared lunch for us and from the forth temple onwards, we were provided some food and fruits. Guess what, those aunties are really geng, they eat at every stop!!! So "walao"....When see food, they grab. When see the donation box, they donate. When see the sculpture, they pray. When see the toilet, we queue to pee!!! LOL.....

4 Wat Sungai Tiang

Ancestral tablet of the old sami.

Sami Luang Phoo Tuad...
People say he's very "ling"...

5 Wat Bukit Perak

Amithaba...
6 Wat Kalai

An ancient and poor temple.

A huge Buddha statue "hidden" inside.
"Fo Fa Wu Bian"

Doing 'hui xiang', connected clothes by clothes.
Spotted a cutie =)

7 Wat Batu Seketul
(tak da dua ketul =.=)

This temple is super old and poor!!

8 Wat Chanhorm
Wat of the sami who led us during the trip.

The main entrance.
"All Are Welcome"

See those boxes?
They're the donation.

This buiding is quite beautiful.

New, white and clean.

After visitng all these temples, it's already 8pm and it took us an hour plus to traveled back. We reached home at about 10pm. I was unable to meet up my friends by then because it was late and I was too tired. The bus was so shaky on the whole journey!!!! I sat at the second row counting from the back! Sigh.... I guess I just can meet them during next sem break. Hope they can do well in their studies later.

Buddha bless you.

Haha...it's not a house though, it's built inside de wat. Sadhu is used as an exclamation for something well done. In Hinduism, it means an ascetic holy man
