People All Around

This whole day I was spending my time in Penang. After checking my teeth at Looi, we did some shopping at Queen's Bay mall together with my family. I'd finally bought the Converse sneakers which I'd longed-for!! Yay ^^ So happy..wahahha.. But my sis is still now bothering me on how to design the birthday card for her VIP and my younger sis kept asking how to do her souvenir since this morning which made me feel quite pressure because I can't concentrate to do my thing! Grrr.. I'm not a designer lar...I study Law ok? But still try to help if I can....haiz.

I just came back from "double plate" actually after meeting up with Chia Yuan and Sue Lyn. Before that, I was with my family at 100 Tuition Centre there having supper too, I met Teng Joon and his girl at there buying 'si guo tang'..haha! First time saw his girlfriend ler, hehe.. When meeting those two at "double plate", we chatted a lot. Talking about Wei Han who disappeared like years ago, suddenly appeared on facebook just a few days ago which I actually can't believe his appearance! He migrated with his whole family to Johor since we're in form 3, it was all happened in a sudden due to his family financial problem, it was unplanned. We haven't for four years and now, he came back, heard that he's currently studying in Kampar. Before I saw his photo tagged by Li Yong on facebook, I was with my uni friends singing K. I forgot when but whenever we sang 安静, I will think about him because this is one of the songs that he used to sing. After that when I saw his face in the picture on facebook, I was like " What the.....?! ONG WEI HAN??!!!" It was like seeing ghost, maybe worse than that! LOL! Well, I haven't chat in person to him, don't know what has changed and what hasn't. But I heard some from CY and SL, anyway, hope he's doing fine there. We were once best friends during high school. Quite miss him after he's gone. Haha..

Although it was just an hour plus gathering, we met quite a number of other ex-school mates who came by. Since when "double plate" became one of ex-keat hwa's base? LOL.. One of them, I met him twice today, in Penang this morning and now again. Swt.. Is this luck or fate? He's not a friend who I really close to. Hmm, the conclusion of today is that, no matter where you go in Alor Star or somewhere near here, you'll sure meet someone you familiar with. So... good luck! haha...

Well, better stop these nonsense and continue to help my sis decorating her card. Or else she'll go crazy, and then I will be driven crazy too @@. Got to catch a morning flight tomorrow..Sigh. Goodnight everyone.

终于。。。。。

加油吧!

Secret Conflict

As usual, we had our practice at Pusanika again. I was late for half an hour plus because I had class previously. Basically our practice divided into 2 parts, we were doing 2 dances today. One is the 'flying time', another is the 'chao zou' dance with UKM branch dancers. I was absent when they first choreograhping the 'chao zou' dance last Saturday as I was too tired and lazy to continue practicing at night. What you've gave is what you've get. Because of my absence and lacking of time, I won't be joining them from the starting but from the middle part. The dance wasn't really hard actually, contrarily I think the steps are more simple than other dance and it is a happy song. But our progress on that song was really slow. Some of us catch up very slow and we have to repeat the same steps over and over again. I wasn't blaming anyone but our time is limited now, I think we should do better than this. But we all understand that practice makes perfect, all we can do is just keep on practicing. I also learned the small part that I missed in order to join them and tried to teach those who can't catch up with us.

After the practice, I just got to know from my friends that a girl wrote about us on her blog. I was shocked when I read it. She was actually blaming us for taking their chances of performing away. In fact, we didn't steal any of their chance away. I admit that this year, the main campus dancers really took part in most of the dance, in a total of 6 pieces, we were in 5 of them , some of us even involve in every piece. This was decided by our teacher whether to let us join. When this happened, the girl felt hurt I supposed because their dance is fewer than us and there's a huge gap between our performance!

If I were her, maybe I will feel that the teacher treat us unfairly. But this is about the whole UKM show, it's not the main campus show or UKM branch show. Does she really need to divide it so clearly? Whether main or branch campus, it's still UKM right. This year our time is really really pack, we only have one week plus to choreo and adjust our movements from now on. There isn't much time left for us to pick up slowly, we have no time to waste. It is necessary for our teachers to make this decision and I don't think they are wrong. What the audience want is a quality show. What for if we do so many dances but none of them is good? Will there be any audience who wants to watch it next year? She also mentioned that this will be her first and the last time to dance, she felt she wasted a lot of her time for meeting her close friends and family and she had no feel for PT dance already. Well, I couldn't say much if someone has no heart for this event anymore. But if she remains here, she is still PT dancers until the actual day. As a responsible student, we should do our best when we commit in something. I always disagree with people who promised to join but then showed no concern to it. If you are in such a situation, why not just leave than keep complaining? Try to accept it with an open heart if you want to stay, it will make your day easier too.

I am sometimes a bit unwilling to be left behind by others, when the teacher does not 'use' me, of course I feel down also. But it's better to work hard than wasting my time thinking of how bad the situation is. I wanted to join 'chao zou' dance and I don't want to miss half of the song, what to do? I learned some of their previous steps so that I can join them in that particular part. It's better than doing nothing but just waiting for miracle to happen. I got what I want and I will not ask for more. I'm glad that I can dance together with them. Previously I felt a bit disappointed when I knew I might only involve in 4 pieces due to my absence on that half day. I nearly think to the dark side and act negatively. But I knew I shouldn't do it that way because once I did, my days during pt practice would be very hard. That's not what I want. I still want to enjoy and I want to be with my pt friends. Thus, I decided to ask for an opportunity from the teacher and I finally got it. Although it's just a small part as I'm not that ambitious (haha), but I'm satisfied. At least I'm not left behind by them, not as much as I thought. ^^

Anyway, I wish good luck to all pt performers. Let's make a final sprint before the show starts. Wish we all can make it successfully and beautifully. So that I can face my friends who are going to support me, haha... Always remember, believe in oneself, there's nothing to be afraid of. Gambateh!!

PT Carnival 2009

PT Carnival was held at Ulu Langat Hokkien Building at Kajang and lasted for two days. The place is more far than last year's venue and the food stalls were lesser too. The crowd wasn't very big too, but we still have fun. I'm glad that our performance went very well, our hard work wasn't wasted and we were quite satisfied with it. =)

Day 1 (11 Sept 2009)
I was performing for PT preview show on the first day. It was only a preview for the stage performance on Oct 3 which will be held at DECTAR, the ticket is RM9 only. Me and other pt performers reached there by 1pm because we'll be having a rehearsal first and follow up with te preparation - make up, ready our costumes, costumes repairing if it is broken etc.. We did our preparation at a kindergarden which situated beside the hall where the performance was. After the make-ups, it's photographing sessions! Haha.. We took a lot of pictures as we rarely can put this type of make-up on our face, only on special ocassion.

A lighter foundation so that our face look pale and the reddish eye shadow..
Wow~I really look like a ghost!

A group of 'ah wu'.......

I feel like my head's going to be eaten, like the big pau behind us. LOL

We still have plenty of time until the preview show at 8.30pm, there was nothing better we can do while waiting than photographing. Hehe.. Other than that, we managed to steal some time to celebrate One She's birthday, our first year junior. Darren (our contem tai lou), Mun Lee and Seat Fang (seniors) went to bought a Classic Cheese cake from Secret Recipe for her. We all celebrated her birthday with the vampire look and the black and white suits. It's going to be a great memory for her and for us, celebrating birthday with a face like that. Haha..

Nice and delicious!! Yummy ~

"Happy Birthday" - love from all 'ah wu'

Before the show, we did some other things together too because the time was too long. We sang some songs together behind the kindergarden, mostly because we were bored. Some of them we're reading notes as they were to have exam on the next day, some were sleeping on the floor. I was the one observing everyone and singing together with those people. hehe.. We even visited the carnival together to buy our dinner, people were shocked and surprised when they saw the whole group of us. Even the myFM dj too, haha! It was abnormal when seeing zombies walking around. "Ready to plant?" xD

Before the show began, we gave support to each other and the seniors gave us some useful advice as they had more experience than us. I was quite nervous before entering the stage, but I finally calmed down myself and tried my best. Though we had good comments on the preview show, but I think we can do it better. There were some errors on the show but only we all knew it. LOL.. I'm sorry that I can't post up the video yet. After 3 Oct, I will upload it if I still remember about this. Hehe..

After the show, I went to the carnival with my fellow performers and I met Katherine, Line Line, Jansenn and ah Wang. I then walked with them, bought some food and we chit-chatted together. We took some pictures at the carnival with the tanglungs and watched the singers singing together. We also went to the tanglung parade together, a mini parade. haha..

Entertaining ourselves. ^^

Don't get shocked when you see someone in the toilet washing out the make-up.

I had to washed it out because we'll be having practices for the next day New Tune hip-hop performance at 11.30pm. We went back at 11pm plus and started our training. We planned to do it until we satisfied with the result. I didn't have any make-up remover with me, all I can do was only washing it with water. There were still make-up on my face and I felt disgusting when think about it. Wearing the make-up from 3pm until 7am on the next day, contact lenses too!! swt.

Warming up ourselves.

I'm the only one without shoes.@@

Yo! We can do it!!

We had our practice until 4am++ and waited for dim sum until 5am++... But at last we only had our breakfast at McD. We then reached UKM at 7am+. After bathing, removing make-up and washing the smelly clothes, I was totally exhausted and finally can have a good rest, but only for 4 hours as I had pt practice again on Saturday noon.

When I decided not to sleep and sacrifice my beauty face (=.=)" , I told myself that all these are worth it. Experience of a university student's life, no matter how tough it would be, I can surpass it.

Day 2 (12 Sept 2009)
After done practicing with the teacher at pusanika since 1pm, I went to the Hokkien Hall to meet my New Tune friends. They were there a few hours earlier to try out the stage, music and rehearsal. The musicans were there too, but I missed their rehearsal. I straight ran on to the stage to join them as they were already doing the rehearsal.

Rehearsal at the afternoon.

Before the show started, we kept sweating to avoid our body from cooling down. Our show was quite early, it was at 7.30pm, second show of the day. We got panic when those musicians hadn't reach there when our show was about to start, because the musicians should be playing before our dance. They showed up themselves 10minutes before the show. Luckily they made it before us. Phew~ Anyway, we support each other to the fullest for the sake of New Tune! Jia You!!

Group photo of the dancers and musicians before the show began. ^^

Our dearest coach + super senior, Jansenn and my beloved dancers. =)

Let's ride!!

The ending pose.
Yeng ler....hehe.

Just a few minutes, our show was over. Yet, we practiced for a few 10 hours I think. But it was all worth it, we really did a great show. Bravo guys!! Thanks for those who came to support us. =D

After that, we sat at the audience seats to watch the following shows. Our main purpose was to watch Creative Lane because they were going to do some breaking. Dance is always our first interest, haha.. But before their show, we were entertained a lot by the performers on the stage, it was quite relaxing. Since a long time ago I never enjoy my day like this, I was always busy with pt practices, assignemnts, presentations and also preparation for music camp. I decided to enjoy myself and forgot what else I have to do later, I think I did. Haha.. Ah Wang won a lucky draw hamper too as they drawed his last 2 i/c numbers, he is such lucky guy. ^^

Us and the hamper. xD

Still active me.. Getting more and more tired later.

We went back at 12am after the last show. It was a blast. I really enjoy myself a lot though I was really tired. I had the video of our dance on facebook, feel free to watch it. I keep watching it over and over again. xD

Hard Time!!!

Feel so gatai now.. I'm having a test tomorrow but I keep thinking of online shopping and can't stop clicking the pages. Lol. In fact, I'm broke now and need to save money for our Jyogoya plan for this coming Oct on TSP's birthday, special occassion. Haha.. But, I still think I want to buy something online. Maybe few days later, haha. Perhaps she is right, I always want to get what I desire of. (Only on material things, not include non-material. Hehe..)

This week I really have a lot to do, especially tomorrow (Wednesday). Besides the test, I have a presentation at evening class and dance practice at night. At the mean time, I also have two group meetings and new tune meeting at night which means I can not attend to all beacause of the dance practice. I don't know if I'm right to put the dance first as I don't want to miss out. The show will be on next month and our teachers plan to cover everything before 14 Sept. I feel guilty to others for I'm unable to attend those meetings. They are important as well because it's close to the date of submission and presentation and the camp is on next weekend. Suddenly everything come at the same time, I feel lost sometimes and feel quite down. Eventually I will not be able to focus when I'm practicing. Sigh.

This Friday is our Preview show at Bangunan Persatuan Hokkien Ulu Langat, Kajang. Everyone is welcome to the festive carnival. It will last for two nights and Saturday I have another performance on behalf on New Tune. Well, I'll be rushing back from UKM branch at Cheras before the performance because I have practice at there in the morning, which means I have to take an hour of KTM. How good if I have a car. Why is life so hard?!

Whatever thing it is, I think it's better to just focus on the very moment and not think about other stuffs. Okay, close my eyes, take a deep breath and count to three...... I'm going to continue my study now. Good luck in Tort test to my fellow course-mates. ^^

Dance Dance Dance!

I was dancing the whole day since I woke up from bed this morning until night. If I'm not answering your call nor replying you on text messages or msn or facebook, I'm probablybusy practicing or doing my assignments as all the things come up at the same time. September is going to be very pack as PT practice has took away half of my time. The schedule is as below:

5/9(sat) 5pm-730pm - contem
730pm-11pm - hip-hop

7/9(mon) 12pm-4pm – contem

9/9(wed) 7pm - Hip Hop

10/9(thurs) 7pm- contem+hip-hop

12/9(sat) 2pm–11pm - contem

16/9(wed) 7pm - contem

17/9(thurs) 7pm - contem+hip-hop

23-27/9-not sure about the time yet

As you can see, my weekends are GONE, my Raya break is also GONE! How pathetic it is. After all this, I promise I'm going to ENJOY MYSELF until I'm satisfied!

This morning, I was practicing with New Tune gang because we're going to perform during PT's carnival at Kajang. They invited us to perform and we liked to take this chance to do some promotion too. Our aim is to let more people know more about us. Hehe... Our practice ended at 3pm+ and I had a reast at my room until 5pm when it's time to have my early dinner at the cafe. Later on, I went to Pusanika to continue my PT dance practice as usual. We are still working on the theme song dance. We (the main campus dancers) have to perform 5 dances if I'm not mistaken, but now we only had completed ONE which is the starting dance. By rights, we should have completed at least half because there's only left LESS THAN 30 DAYS to practice and the choreographs are not yet done too. There will be changes until the last minute before the performance, that's what I heard from the seniors. LOL.

Despite in the state of exhaustion, what makes it fun today is the teachers who are going to teach us hip hop in PT finally showed up! I personally quite expected their presence because I want to see how is a hip hop teacher suppose to be like as I've not taken any proper lessons from a professional before. They really didn't disappoint me as what I've expected. Although what they taught us today was quite hard for some of us to catch up but at least I see the quality in them. They are young and were grads from UM. Other contemporary teachers too had done their master and degree in local Uni. It's a good chance to learn and to improve myself from those teachers. =) Guess what, local universities aren't that bad after all. Hehe.. Besides normal hip hop dance, they also taught us some new jazz. Make sure you see the hot ladies on the stage during PT show on 3rd Oct. Wulala~ The ticket only costs Rm9. If you never been to a PT show yet, you should consider it, it's a shame as a UKM student for not been to such a grand event before. Hehe.

Well, I think I can go through all these with the supports from you. So, please support me. ^^ Aza fighting! Together we put our shoulder on, I'm sure we can handle it. All we have to do is to believe in ourselves, there's nothing we can't achieve. =)

The Best Thriller of the Month

We had a late show at Balakong's Jusco tonight. We were watching "Orphan", the movie is totally psyco but very nice to watch! The characters of the movie were presented very well. The ideas of the movie were also potrayed very clearly. We were quite amazed by what happened in the end, the storyline was very interesting and the scenes, angle shots and sound systems were almost perfect! That scared us though. Every scenes were so startling that shocked me for a couple times. It lead our emotions and feelings as the story goes. It made us flustered, worried about what is going to happen next and I feel that the whole movie is dangerous!

The thing that makes the movie interesting is how they take their time in the story. For the first half we see Esther adapting to her new surroundings and she's being sweet and makes people likes her a lot. For the next half, she began to show her real character of who she is. From a sweet and smart girl, slowly she turned into a violence, revengeful, sarcastic and a psyco person which are actually her real identities. I think they balanced out the character of Esther well. You could never know that she is the over-the-top, annoying, non-intimidating, and non-believable character until the end of the movie. It was also clever at times where you feel a sense of danger as far as the story goes because it's literally like anything can happen. Even if it began to make you very mad for whatever reason, you still can't help but keep watching and wondering. At times it may feel predictable, but as a matter of fact, you can't but feel that maybe you haven't predicted it. That's what catches you to stick to it.

After the movie, I can feel that my heart was still beating fast and I still feel a sense of terrify. Trust me, when you start watching this movie, you would not want to stop watching because you couldn't. If you do so, you'll end up with a lot of question marks. From the first scene, it is already attractive enough that you wonder what will happen later on. It's really a movie worth watching. I would consider it as the best thriller of the month. Whether you like this kind of movie, I will still recommend "Orphan". By the way, I quite adore the little girl, Max who has a cute and innocent appearance. But this is not a movie for kids. So keep out from children and watch with adults. Don't miss it!

p/s: I will still have goosebumps when looking at the picture on the above that I'm scare to scroll it up while writing. ><

Thanks Strangers. ^^

It's fasting season now. I just realized that 7pm onwards there will be no bus until 8pm because the drivers want to 'buka puasa'. Normally their break time starts at 7.30pm but now there'll be no transport for AN HOUR! It's really troublesome, that's why I NEED A CAR in UKM!

But I'm lucky enough to meet some strangers who are willing to offer us a ride. Last Wednesday (if I'm not mistaken), me and Carol were waiting at the bus stand after our French class at about 6.50pm. It was raining and we waited for almost half an hour but there wasn't any bus coming! It was getting dark by then and we knew something wrong. We then decided to walk back to our college as everyone at the bus stand starts leaving. However, we were expecting that if someone we know pass by perhaps they can drop us at our college. So, we started walking back. Just then, a car passed by, we were looking at the car hoping that it'll stop by to pick us up. Thanks god our wish was granted, the man in the car waited in front and when we got there, he asked us where were we heading to and said that he could fetch us. So we got into the car, we were so so happy at the moment. We found that he is a lecturer who is teaching Hubungan Etnic through our conversations. UKM's lecture wasn't that bad after all. ;D Finally, we got back to our college safely, thanks to the lecturer who was rushing back home to Nilai.

The same thing happened today. I thought I missed the Zon2 bus at 7pm, so I walked down to FTSM bus stop which is the one I waited for the bus to go to class everyday to take bus U. There wasn't any bus passing by actually, my backup plan was to walk to Pusanika. Just when I was thinking what to do, a car came down from the direction of my faculty asking for the way to get to UKM main entrance. Well, I don't know how to explain it to him in plain language. He then asked me whether I can show him the way. Of course, when there is an offer, there is a consideration. Hehe. I asked him whether he can drop me by Pusanika becasue it is on the way to the main gate. I got to know that the guy, Mus is from Algeria and currently is doing his PHD at Engineering Fac. The purpose of him getting out from UKM is because he wants to eat after fasting for the whole day! LOL. Fortunately when we reached a particular junction, he knew the way to the entrance and I don't need to explain everything. I think he got lost at my fac when finding the way out before we met. My fac is at an isolated area, it's normal when people who don't belong there goes in and don't know how to get out. Haha. Anyway, thanks for the ride again. I got to Pusanika just in time without wasting my energy and sweat. =)

Super Sakae Sunday!

It's hard to come by that I'm free on the weekend, that's why I keep hanging out with friends, enjoying my weekend when I'm not tied with anything. On last Sunday, I met some of my ex-KMK friends at Pavilion. Meeting the old dudes, there's must be something that I can wear. ^^

The shirt which I just bought it on the previous day at the Street Market.
Well, I only can say it's a trendy style of wearing.

Basically there was only five of us departing from different places. I departed from UKM, Bangi; my berry sis - Yu Zhen departed from KTSN, UKM branch; the famous monkey of KMK - Beng came from his apartment at Wangsa Maju after his class; the best nonsense partner - Haw Wooi and Zi Cong came from UM. I met up with HW and ZC by coincidence when I was about to cross the road while heading to the Monorail. And so, we headed to Low Yat and then Pavilion together to meet up with Yu Zhen. Beng met us at Sakae Sushi later on while we were having lunch. It was actually my first time visit to Sakae Sushi, always heard of it but never try. By the time we were at the entrance, I knew I was with the right people at the right place. My friend, they're are not only students but super savers! One of them noticed this small advertisement at the entrance.

As you can see, the statement "save 50% off or more via SMS" really saved us a lot where we can eat more!
We got to know it by asking the manager. Haha!
Just send a message and we can get 50% off, with terms and conditions apply.

Sushi!! Aiming for the red plates.

Why red plates?
Because we can purchase it at the half price, that's what the "50% off" means.
We can have up to 10 plates per sms. hehe..

But I still ordered a main course.
Spicy Kimuchi Ramen!

Me and Yu Zhen and our food. ^^

The bill was only Rm97++ after what we ate and I have to pay RM 20++ including the main course. Quite satisfied of the lunch we had, kept refilling our tea because we talked non-stop that the customers around us kept changing. ^^ After the eat-till-our stomach burst lunch, we had a movie at GSC. My first time to watch a 3D show and what more at Pavilion GSC!!! I was so so excited that I have to go to the restroom for my "big business" before the movie. LOL!! But we're watching UP, I would consider it as a good movie worth watching it 2 times. Haha..

The evidence! LOL!

UP, here we go~!

The cool 3D glasses look funny on us. xD

As a conclusion, it was quite eyesight consuming when watching 3D movie. I nearly fell asleep in the cinema, haha.. As Yu Zhen said, we could not miss J.Co since we're at Pavilion, thus, we bought 2 dozens of J.Co Donuts and divided it! Hehe.

J.Co is always the best. ^^

The new Baby J.Co Donuts. Cute right?!
There were 24 of them and I took half of it while Yu Zhen had the other half.

The five of us enjoying our donuts.
Glad to have it with you guys. ^^

We headed home after having some walk at Sungei Wang. I reached UKM quite late and since there's no one can share the donuts with me, I shall have it all myself. hehe!

My supper!
But I couldn't finish all of them, kept some for my breakfast on the next day. =)

Snow white isn't snowy anymore but still, delicious. ^^

Thanks god my Sunday was fun! A gathering with old friends really makes me feel good. Can't wait for our next gathering. What about October when there's promotion at Sushi King? Or go for The Final Destination together? xD Anyway, good luck to you guys in studies! Glad that you guys didn't ffk me as promised. =)
