We spent the whole day at the Universal Studios on our second day. I had only been to Hong Kong Disney Land, so I can’t comment too much on it. Although it was not as big as I expected but we had great times there. There were street entertainments, stage shows and meet and greet the characters too are available. The only thing different from Disney Land is they’re not all Fairy Tales! That’s what makes it fun.haha..
Before that must fill in my stomach first, prepare for the journey. Hehe..
My breakfast. Soya $1, char siu rice $3… Quite cheap for Singaporean.
After resting the whole night, I’m ready for the day! ^^
Sentosa Casino Resort
Sorry la but I don’t have much interest in the casino. Just simply took a quick photo of it.
Adam and Eve, front and back.
Feng shui is very important for the casino to earn money. This is one of the long-legged elephant placed at the corner according to feng shui.
Hotel Michael is not just another hotel, it’s one of the most expensive hotel and doesn’t mean that you can book for it because you’re a millionaire, it depends on one’s status too.
Hard Rock Hotel, famous worldwide.
Jimmy Choo, a worldwide famous shoe-maker, from Malaysia.
Think!
Universal Studios
The paint matches FIFA worldcup right? haha!
Queing at the entrance.
My entrance ticket. :) The Battlestar Galactica rollercoaster was closed.
So we were given these two vouches as rebate, total $ 10. Not bad right.. hehe
Universal Globe.
First stop - Hollywood
Elton John.
Met Woody Woodpecker. haha!
Universal Studios Store.
The buildings in Hollywood.
The signboard.
Second Stop – Madagascar
King Julien’s Beach Party-Go-Round (suitable for kdis).
After the Central Park Zooapalooza Tour, we got the chance to take photo with these characters. All we have to do is queue up and when it’s your turn, hand over the camera to the worker and they’ll help you take these photos for FREE~!
Gloria, the big belly hippo just like me, I have big belly too. =.=
Who says penguins can’t fly? Haha…
It would be incomplete without this huge ship.
Don’t you feel happy when looking at these pics? Took them for free too! :DDDDD
We can see the roller coaster at the opposite.
Third stop – Far Far Away
Welcome to Far Far Away. ^^
Shrek’s house.
The castle.
The Enchanted Airways is a high speed roller coaster. Nothing horrible and it was fun. Enjoy the speed!
Gingy is drunk….
We were next! ;)
Watched Shrek 4D too. Very interesting and real. We were scared by the spiders, spilled by Donkey’s sneezing and you can hear the crowd laughing because we were fooled. Haha..
The King and Queen.
Wearing our 4D glasses.
Donkey LIVE was more like a tv show. Just some lame jokes offered.
Forth stop – The Lost World
It started drizzling already when we came to this park. We only took the Canopy Flyer at The Lost World. It was not a good idea to get all wet, thus we ignored the Rapids Adventure. But I heard good compliments from other members of my trip, they’d took a ride.
In front of the food court. The queue for lunch is equal to the queue for Canopy Flyer, took us more than half an hour! And the food wasn’t so nice, how disappointing.
Waterworld is just next to The Lost World. It was the most dangerous show which contained violence, gun shots, explosions and dangerous actions! I gave it a BRAVO!
This man was doing monkey business!
Kena the water pipe lah...=.=
Ready for the show? :D
There were 2 kinds of seats – splash seats and dry seats. If you are prepared to get wet, you can go for the splash seats. I preferred the dry one, haha..
This was what happened to those who sit in front.
Incredible stage settings.
The door opened. The girl came back from dry land.
They are pretty skilled!
The bad guy’s boat, he claimed himself to be Tigerwood. What a joke! lol.
Launched the engine to emit the water.
Small explosion.
Splashed!
Here came the hero!
I call this, professionals…..
The girl trying to escape from the bad guys.
Huge explosions!
The bad guys died and the good guys escaped in the end.
Applause by the crowd after the show. They deserved it.
Fifth stop – Ancient Egypt
Impressive statues!
Revenge of the Mummy was my favourite ride! It was a high-speed ride, thrill with the sharp turns and fast reverse, alongn the way we were threaten by fireballs, scarab beetles and robotic warrior mummies too and all in total darkness!! Experience the mummy’s adventure, WORTH TO TRY!!
The tunnel to the ride was quite creepy too, it was dark inside and like an endless maze. If you can’t finish the maze, you can’t take the ride. Hope you are one of the survivors. Muahaha~
In front of the entrance.
My sis posing with the statues.
The army of Anubis! So scary~
Sixth stop – Sci Fi City
The Battlestar Galactica Cylon and Human were both closed. Can’t experience the exciting ride. :(
The second half.
CYLON
Cam whore at the toilet after playing Accelerator. It was similar to Genting’s spinning cups but bigger. Hehe..
Last stop – New York
Enjoyed the sidewalk.
Subway.
Palace.
New York Public Library.
The yellow cab.
Lights, Camera, Action! Hosted by Steven Spielberg. In there, you can experience the incredible effects of the settings for a hurricane which is about to hit New York City. It proves that there is no limits of our human’s imagination, especially in film industrials.
This is the picture of the ending where a huge ship suddenly came out from the chamber right in front of us. The most incredible part was the background, the ocean looked so real and I love it a lot!
It looks like the Go-Go Gadget’s car. haha..
The car plate!
Kowabunga Kove is actually at Hollywood. We dropped by to have dinner and wait for 5.30pm stage show after the first round in Universal Studios.
We watched Kowabunga musical stage performance while having dinner. Haha..
Drive In at Mel’s.
Have a bite! :D
Monster Rock! Amazing musical stage performance!
The stage. I quite like their performance. They sang a few hitz like Low, My Prerogative, It’s My Life etc. and everybody’s favourite’s Nobody. We heard this song like three times on that single day in different show. swt…
In the theatre.
The Universal Studios' closed at 7pm. We proceeded our tour to Sentosa Island’s sound and light water show. I felt the show quite boring as they focus too much on drama and less on the water show, quite a turn off for the night.
Roar!!! blub blub…………
