Buddha Tooth Relic Temple
The most expensive temple! The stage where Buddha’s tooth is placed is made of 1000 tons of gold!
Do you know why we cannot cross over the middle doorway? Well, it’s a long story….
Guest are required to put this on if wear sleeveless or shorts which the length is above knees to show respect.
I was wearing shorts so I had to put this on. Looked like a massage lady nia…=.=
Amitabha.. Singapore still have many devout believers, they have chanting sessions everyday at this temple.
So advanced, they have lifts inside the temple. Buddha tooth is on the forth floor. Photos shooting are allowed only allowed on the ground floor.
Wising gong.
Don’t forget gardening part. This is on the roof top.
Banda Street.
Me and the temple.
Me and my sis. People kept saying we look like twins when see this pic, even my coursemate can’t recognize me. swt.. During my high school times, people said me and my elder sis looked alike, now my younger sis turn pulak! Proves that, I’m still young! hahaha… (my sis is 5 years younger than me :P)
Chinatown Heritage Centre
In here, it recalled me of my great grandmother’s house as it is a showcase of Chinese cultures and livings in early times.
A tricycle.
Chinese histories and diaries.
Your parents used to be excited during their childhood times when they saw this at home because they only had it during cny or special events. It was their soda drinks, just like out Coca-cola.
Dining tables.
Tableware.
The market.
I’m sure you know what are they symbolizing.
The kitchen and toilets.
Bedroom and old clothes.
:)
The restaurant next to the heritage centre.
Shopping time!
A new kid I knew during the trip. His name is ‘Huai Dan’. haha… Just kiddin’ :P
Chinatown. This is where I bought the souvenirs. :D
Haw Par Villa
The villa is constructed by the Haw Par brothers, founder of Tiger Balm. It is open free for public but it’s not as crowded as before now. It’s free so why not have a walk? Hehe.
The entrance.
The tiger-head car.
What comes around goes around.
Dare to find out what your sins are? hehe…
Wishing pond. I doubt that it’s still working now.
林泽徐大人
Real tortoises.
Monument for Haw Par’s parents.
Kids just love to climb around. hehe
Singapore Discovery Centre
It is a place where you can learn about Singapore stories, a showcase of various aspects of its history and also current and future technology.
I Will.
Little George, the robot. He can speak to you and sing “Twinkle Twinkle”, hehe..
The war games. I don’t know how to play it. =.=
Me in an army suit! The flag was just nothing… lol
The helicopter.
I’ll take you a ride for free, hop in! :P
A pistol in my hand, no play play….
Feel like myself a heroin carrying this SAR 21. Paid $6 for a game but my score sucks! haha.
We had a bus tour to Singapore Military School too. Singaporean who has reached the age of 18 has to serve the country for two years. The Military School’s square feet are equal to 26 football fields. It’s really big and clean inside, it has provided various facilities for the soldiers too. Hundred times better than our national service. =.=
(from left) Zi Huan 11, sis, Zhe Han 14 and me.
Jien Herng and Zhe Xin, both 13.
Jien Herng and Zi Huan are siblings while Zhe Han and Zhe Xin are in a family. They also have a brother who is same age as Zhe Han but they’re not twins! And Zhe Xin is only a year younger than Zhe Han. How geng their mom is…. LOL.
That’s the end of our trip. Glad to know these few little friends of my trip. :D I was the eldest among them. =.=
